来了,
这是中国传统民间手工艺
——糖画。
以勺为笔,以糖为墨
流淌间便可勾画世间万物。
相传,
唐代大诗人陈子昂很爱吃黄糖,
但是他的吃法与众不同。
他将糖熔化在清洁光滑的桌面上,
铸成各种小动物图案,
等糖液凝固后便拿在手上,
一边赏玩一边品尝。
后来,
陈子昂到京城长安游学求官,
也把这种吃法带到了京城,
从此糖画这门手艺代代相传。
到了清代,
糖画更加流行,
制作技艺日趋精妙,
形态多为花鸟鱼虫、
福禄寿喜、十二生肖等,
均是大众喜闻乐见的吉祥图案。
糖画是一门集合了
美食、文化和手工制作的艺术,
既可观赏,又可食用,
作画师傅通常无需底稿,
一气呵成。
如今的糖画
出现了更多的创新形式,
卡通糖画、立体糖画,
为传统糖画带来了新的生机。
中国之文化,糖画之精神,
在一代代匠人的糖勺之间
慢慢流传。

Sugar Painting
Have you ever eaten a “painting”?
Here it is, the traditional Chinese folk art - sugar painting.
Spoon as pen, liquid sugar as ink,everything in the world can be sketched through the stroke.
It is said that Chen Zi’ang, a great poet in the seventh century (Tang Dynasty),liked to eat brown sugar. But he ate it in a unique way.
He melted the sugar on a clean and smooth table and cast it into various shapes of small animals.After cooling down, it could beheld in the hand, eaten, and enjoyed.
Later, Chen went to the capital city (the City of Chang’an),he also brought this art to the capital.Since then, sugar painting became a lasting craft.
In the 17th century (Qing Dynasty), sugar painting became more popular, and the production techniques were more sophisticated.The objects include flowers and birds, fish and insects, fortune symbols and the 12 zodiac signs and other designs.
The art of sugar painting combines food, culture, and handicraft,both ornamental and edible.The painting is done in one go without any draft.
Today’s sugar painting is more creative in forms. Cartoon sugar painting and 3D sugar painting are bringing new life to traditional ones.The culture of China and the spirit of sugar painting have been passed down through the sugar spoons of generations of craftsmen.
