2月21日下午，澳大利亚政府教育部官宣：自2023年7月1日起，符合资格的国际高等教育毕业生将获得额外两年的毕业后工作权利。澳大利亚将允许海外留学生工作时间上限将从每两周40小时增加到48小时。无限制的工作权利将于 2023 年 6 月 30 日完结。
澳大利亚教育部长Jason Clare阁下表达，澳大利亚政府将计划延长“规定学习领域”的国际学生在毕业后获得临时毕业生工作签证（485类）的工作权利期限。也就是说，符合条件的国际学生，将有机会获得比以往更久的停留时间。

本科毕业后485工签从2年变4年
研究生毕业生后485工签从3年变5年
博士毕业后485工签从4年变6年
注意：所有博士学位毕业生的485都能延长2年，不限制专业。也就是说所有博士毕业生都能拿到6年的485
而本科和研究生学历的同学则有专业限制。不是所有专业毕业都能享受这个利好政策的！

⑤农业
⑥食品
确定新政生效日期是2023年7月1号，那么在生效之前政府公布具体课程的CRICOS course codes。此外，列表会每年更新一次，并不是完完全全固定的。
此次对国际学生毕业后工作签证时长的放宽，让澳大利亚在“毕业生工作权力”的相关联政策条件上，一跃成为“最慷慨”的留学国家之一，也将帮助澳大利亚成为对国际学生更具吸引力的目的地。澳大利亚鼓励国际学生在结业后逗留更长时间，并利用他们在澳大利亚获得的技能，来帮助填补目前存在的一些长期技能短缺。
两个新闻来的特别劲爆，所有均是利好，完完全全能利用如此长的485签证来积攒够工作时间了，便于之后申请pr签证。
